The New
Web Site
The new Lowestoft Photographic & Digital Imaging Club web site was
launched on July 20 2004. The site has been completely redesigned - by
Anokhi Ltd. -
and now adds additional functionality and an even bigger gallery of
photographs. Your comments and suggestions are valued and always
welcome.
Membership Fees Held
The annual membership fees for the new Lowestoft Photographic &
Digital Imaging Club will remain at the same level as last year, the
committee has decided. This represents superb value for money at
just 65p per meeting for a standard subscription. Also, don't forget
that the new programme includes an additional six meetings dedicated
to digital imaging (see Lottery Grant article).
A new name
for the Lowestoft Photographic Club
To acknowledge the
increasing interest in digital imaging and our purchase of specialist
digital equipment (see Lottery Grant article), The Lowestoft Photographic Club
has been re-named The Lowestoft Photographic &
Digital Imaging Club.
Lottery
Grant Award
The Lowestoft Photographic & Digital Imaging Club is delighted to
announce that they have been awarded a lottery grant, under the
government's Awards For All scheme. The club is now in possession of
an LCD Projector, a laptop computer, Adobe CS software and an A3
printer. The aim is to introduce people to digital imaging through
membership of the club and, to that end, an additional six meetings
have been arranged in order to familiarise members with the new
equipment.
